Kimberly Flener
6th Grade Science Teacher
This will be my fourth year teaching at Western Middle School for the Arts. I have previously taught Special Education Science for 6th and 7th grade and co-taught in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science. I have co-taught in ELA, Social Studies, and Math as well.
I love to travel and be outdoors. My favorite travel destination in Disney World and stepping into my classroom you will notice that I am a Disney fan. I am also an animal lover and have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 ferrets, a gecko, and a beta fish. Pascal, is the gecko and Finn is the beta fish. Both can be seen in my classroom. I am married and have a wonderful stepson. I love teaching science and look forward to teaching 6th graders as they embark on their journey at Western Middle School for the Arts.
